Thanks etcmike for spreading this video. I never miss any of his videos -- I learned more useful information from his Secrets of Money series than I did in university econ classes, and I am not kidding.

I agree that Mike Maloney's series have been very educational.
Unfortunately the current state of the education system in the U.S. seems to be geared more toward creating cogs for the system than creating independent thinkers.
I do not recall Mike Maloney speaking favorably of cryptocurrencies. I think this is why a few of the YouTube creators I follow have not moved to SteemIt.
I too continue to hope that more content creators find their way to SteemIt.

Ah okay.. Makes sense.. The reason I don't know her is because I live in South Africa :P
Because the USD is currently the world reserve currency, Janet Yellen has the power to affect people around the world through the USD.
