At IBDExpo, PT DI offers 3 leading aircraft to build remote areas
PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) offers three aircraft namely CN235-220, NC212i, and N219 to build remote areas. This aircraft has the advantage to reach areas with hilly geography such as in Papua.
PTDI President Director, Elfien Goentoro, said the aircraft will refine President Jokowi's toll booth program. The hope of an integrated, effective and efficient logistics distribution system will improve people's welfare.
"PTDI has three types of flagship aircraft that can be used by local airlines, including CN235-220, NC212i, and N219.The three aircraft offered by PTDI have the advantage of being able to pass through hilly terrain, short runway lengths or grassy runways and rocky, "Elfien said at the IBDExpo event, JCC Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (9/21).
CN235-220 aircraft with a maximum load of 6,000 Kg can be used to distribute logistics from Mozes Kilangin Airport, Timika to major cities in Papua, such as to Sentani Airport, Jayapura.
Sentani Airport, Jayapura, with an asphalt paved construction has a runway length of 3,000 x 45 meters located at an altitude of 88 MDPL (Meters above Sea Level), ideal for takeoff and landing aircraft CN235-220 or NC212i.
NC212i aircraft can continue the distribution of logistics from Sentani Airport, Jayapura to Rendani Airport, Manokwari with an asphalt paved construction has a runway length of 2,000 x 45 meters at an altitude of 4.57 MDPL, very suitable for takeoff and landing aircraft NC212i or N219.
The N219 aircraft with maximum transportable load of 2,313 Kg can continue the logistic distribution from Rendani Airport, Manokwari, to Merdey Airport, West Papua, with the runway construction still in solid soil and having a runway length of 600 x 23 meters at an altitude of 300 MDPL. The N219 aircraft has the ability to take off and land on short and unpaved airport runways, such as Merdey Airport, West Papua.
The N219 aircraft specifically designed for mountainous areas of Papua is expected to support the Air Toll program in accordance with Presidential Regulation no. 70 of 2017 on the Implementation of Public Service Obligations for the Transport of Goods From And To Disadvantaged, Remote, Outermost and Border Areas. N219 aircraft can reach areas with hilly georafic conditions with short runways and not prepared.
N219 aircraft can be a solution to open accessibility and connectivity of the region's leading, lagging and outlying in the mountains of Papua and West Papua, so that the Government's single price program can be realized. "N219 aircraft will move the community activities in the region of Papua, economic activity and mobilization of citizens are expected to run smoothly," he concluded.
