What does SBD stand for?
Steem Based Dollars (I think) I am trying to quickly figure out payment systems here myself. However: many of the "OLD SCHOOLERS" here all seem to do the 100% SBD.
So until I can figure out the how's and why's myself and try to give a honest "no B.S." assessment,.. I'm following the money makers reasons.
Actually, the default when posting is 50/50
That at the present time is 50% Steem Power and 50% Steem Backed Dollars.
SBD are trading at a very nice premium so if your goal is to "cash out" or to "power up" the best option is still the 50/50 payout.
You can then either send the SBD to an external exchange and trade for Bitcoin or other cryptos or use the internal exchange to buy Steem and then power that up..
Many options :)
