Business / life lessons from THE ROCK
There's a popular TV show
called W.W.E. which stands
for World Wrestling Entertainment.
If you haven’t seen it before,
don’t worry.
The show is horrible.
But I want to bring it up
because out of all the
wrestlers on the show came
someone most of us know.
Yes.
You guessed it.
W.W.E. is where Dwayne
Johnson A.K.A. The Rock
first got famous.
Now the reason I have so
much respect for The Rock
is NOT because he was a
famous wrestler.
The reason I respect him is
after 2 decade in the
limelight, The Rock is STILL
one of the top entertainers
in Hollywood today.
In fact, his latest movie
Rampage just pulled in $283
million dollars in the first weekend.
And none of this happened
by accident.
The Rock built his own
success every step of the
way.
So in a lot of ways, I’m like
The Rock.
You may not know this, but
I’ve been famous in the
internet marketing space for
over 15+ years now.
Today, almost everyone else
who was famous in the same
time as me are gone.
I am one of the ONLY people
left standing - and not only
am I still standing, my
personal brand and fame
is growing faster than ever.
Now the reason I want to
share this with you is to
give you hope.
Because nowadays, when
you look online, it is so easy
to think everyone on
Facebook or Instagram is
"successful" and you’re not.
But just remember.
The people you see online
may have good lives now.
But in 10 years? Guess how
many of them will still be
around?
If they’re lucky, maybe a
handful of them. And in 15-20
years? Mark my words.
But almost every single one
of them will be gone.
So don’t get caught up in the
hype.
If you want a good life, focus
on long-term success by
working on your skillset.
Don’t get be short-sighted
like everyone else.
Don’t get caught up in the
latest business opportunity
of the month.
