Not indicating that the content you copy/paste is not your original work could be seen as plagiarism.

I am the original author and I post this all over the place.
Could you, please confirm that you are Mark Are by editing that comment under that article and adding mention of Steemit on it so we could see that you are an author of it?
You can remove the mention later, once it is confirmed.
Ammoland is set up in such a way that you cannot edit content once it is posted.
Ok, what I did was post another post UNDER that post saying you guys wanted proof. It is moderated and sometimes they take a day or two to approve them. Especially if they are on an older post as this one is.
Oh, and one other thing...am I going to have to prove I'm me every time I post something I posted somewhere else?
This is a new one for me. We don't get many that publish their comments from somewhere else. Usually they have blogs, YouTube channels, or social media accounts they republish content from.
You might want to drop by steemit.chat to talk about it.
If you want to repost your old comments from somewhere else, then I would simply recommend not to do so and write something new on Steemit. Otherwise you will keep getting caught by cheetah and you will have to prove that this content was yours, every single time.
