Money is eveything !!! sorta, kinda .

Money ,the crux of the world.

The one thing in this world every single human on this earth have in common, no matter how rich, poor or how old you are. Yet, it defines our living conditions, statutes and difference we all have in society. In my opinion, money only matters financially , not morally. I think a lot us, if we could, would gladly take the opportunity to not have to worry about money and live without it.

I can tell you now, and I feel a lot of you would agree as well, that if money didn't exist, we'd have world peace. But it does exist, and it is part of our lives, so it is something we all have to deal with, whether we like to or not.

Plain and simple, the reality of it is,  if you don't have money , it's extremely hard to live or survive in this world , and the older I get the more and more I  understand when people say don't wish away your youth.

So who decided that money was a good idea?

In the very beginning, people traded goods.  Someone would give an item and they would receive something back that they needed.  Later on people started to trade with metal, like gold.  Everything was weighed according to the value of gold.  So if you wanted to buy something there would be a price and you would pay an x amount of gold.

Before that time, I'm sure a system of bartering was likely used. Not only with goods, like "I'll trade you this meat for your vegetables”, but also "I'll trade you this weapon/axe if you help me catch some fish". With time, a type of pre-currency involving easily traded items like animal skins, salt, food and weapons developed over the centuries. These traded goods served as the medium of exchange even though the unit values were still negotiable. This system of barter and trade spread across the world, and it is still used today on some parts of the world.

In 600 B.C., Lydia's King Alyattes minted the first official currency. The coins were made from a mixture of silver and gold called electrum that occurs naturally.

At the end of the day, money is only a currency when the majority of people agree on it. For example, at one stage a tally stick was used as a currency.

A tally stick was an ancient memory aid device used to record and document numbers, quantities, and even messages.

But regardless of what currency we use, we all have to work for the money we need/want for the bills we that need to be payed and for the things we want.

Personally, money is only an obstacle in life, and it shouldn’t be more than that. It's so sad though because a lot of times, like drugs or alcohol, money can tear lives apart.

Always remember , money is necessary , but there are way more important things in life than it .

Excellent post. Hard work pays off. Proud of you!

@giantbear Thank you so much ! XD

My simple equation to life (regarding money) is: Make as much money as you can, as fast as you can.

The key thing here is "As fast as you can". Because money is not everything, you want to make time in your life to enjoy it and not be chasing money. My goal is to completely let go of work by 30... and then enjoy my life with all the riches I have earned to gain life experiences! Experience > materialism!

Does not mean I wont like to drive my Lamborghini...... who doesn't?

However great post! Thank you

Good post. Money is just a more efficient medium of exchange than bartering.

@numpypython Yes !!! Allot of people think if they have lots of money they'll be happy , yes ,having lots of money makes things easier , but wont contribute to true happiness.
