When i go to the bank, often the bank employees notice that i don't have pension funds, they somehow think i am clueless and start explaining how important it is

It's considered to be a social no-no in Toronto not to have a retirement account. They don't realize all of them will be looted.

This is exactly why we can't trust central bankers.

George Carlin saw it for what it was. "the vanishing pension that goes away the moment you try to collect it."

It going to keep happening. One jurisdiction after amother. This is happening now, what will happen when the stock market crashes and or interest rates change. I cant even picture it.

Would we be better off if states could declare chapter 11 bankruptcy as Puerto Rico did? How has that effected them and the people that live there?

Seems like they want more. They're trying to become a state in hopes they can be rescued.

Somewhat surprisingly, Connecticut is in deep trouble too.

I believe they all are to different degrees.

Americans will wake up when it hits them the pocket book unfortunately.

Then they'll be lining up at the government offices demanding things.

but the question is how do you protect yourself especially if you live in the Chicago.

Move outside the city Center. Try to get a piece of land. 1/3 acre is minimum. Real assets.

I agree but what about my house?
