Throwback Thursday.: Observations on Money
I struggle sometimes to understand those who either worship or hate money. I try to think of it as a tool. It is really difficult to develop that thinking process when our need/desire for it is in the forefront every day. I like money it is a great tool and I don't like to see it demonized.
This is not a bash on money, nor the trending page, or any of the articles, really just an observation on how often we think about money. (I included myself)
So, someone mentioned they thought the trending page (which is sorted by a formula focused on money) looks good. I went to look, and I don't even know why this whole concept struck me. The first 8 posts, sorted by money value (and posting time) were all about money. :) Again, not bashing the posts or the content or SteemIt. I just thought it was interesting. It seems this tool is another thing we all have in common.

We love to talk about money, we sort and prioritize by money, we hate money, we hate people with money.
I think many have very confused relationships with money.
all talking about $ & making $$...???
I haven't seen any swinging dicks on here today which is a nice change :)
lol.. I muted them all. but I hear ya.
Money is an abstract concept of value and that is of course really useful. What people don't like to realise is that the value is not real (as it is an abstract concept) and that in the end it is about power to define the value. When you make a hardfork to freeze or take away money from others it is not about fairness, but about power struggle. The Steem/Hive aristocrats just forgot about one thing. The whole system relies on people having the lofty beliefs that money actually is of real value.
Great comment! I love this.
This post is also about $Money =<]
I think that every person has his own perspective on the world, and he does not think with one mind. I think difference is a blessing
