Something I thought about.

They say "Keep your face towards the sunshine and the shadows will always fall behind you.", but what does it actually mean? Different people think about it in different ways, da you want to know what I think about it? "Yes" Who said that? It doesn't matter, where were we? Aaa yeah...cue the explanation time.
In everyone's lives shadows are present, maybe from the begging of their existence, maybe not, but they are present. Many wonder what they are, but not many discover their meaning. "Just like you". That's not true! And I'll show that's these shadows are the mistakes from our past and present. Why the present you may ask. Because I could be making a mistake right now and wouldn't realise it, maybe only after a day, or two... or never. That's why I was referring to the present. We can learn from them, they are meant for us as a lesson. But no, no...never get stuck. Look back, learn, NEVER stay there, ALWAYS turn your face towards the sunshine."SHUT UP! They are demons! You don't know anything!". You are right, they are demons that we create. How? By not learning what they teach us and then running away from them. If you run you make them stronger, you empower them. But if the shadows are our demons...what is the sunshine?
The sunshine is something that we create, let's say a friend or even God, to help us overcome the demons in our lives. We give it whatever power it needs to help us. It is something in your mind, untouchable and it can be personalised for every human being. It is the most wonderful place, view, sound, friend that we create. It is the one thing that prevents us from drowning in an infinite sea of darkness and allows us to go forward, but only if we allow it to do that.
It is a matter of "if", if we chose to let it help us and be enlightened by it or face a never ending darkness in our path taking the risk to become one of them...just like you did. Why won't you accept my help? Why do you refuse my help, my hand? Are you afraid of making another mistake, afraid of feeling alone, afraid of bro g judged by everyone around you? "Please stop". I won't, not until you turn your face towards me. Let me see the beautiful smile you once had.
