Their Little Monster desperately searched for a CD player that they would occasionally eat. One might consider this to be a weird and wonderful activity, to you, but not to the Monster, who felt it was awesome. A CD player is the thing to opt for.

Their Little Monster desired a Harry Potter wand that they would occasionally eat. It should be a fairly weird and wonderful thing to do, to my neighbour, but not to the Monster, who thinks it was the most awesome idea. A Harry Potter wand would be the thing that was chosen.

Their Little Monster craved for a bat that they would occasionally drop. It should have been a fairly unusual proposal, to my grandma, but not to the Monster, who thought it was fun. Strangely, a bat was the chosen thing.

Their Little Monster looked for a can of Tango that they sometimes sleep with. It was a bizarre thought, to some, but not to the Monster, who thinks that the idea was simply life. You wouldnt have thought, a can of Tango is the item to opt for.
