The Different Monster

The Different Monster desperately desired a rubber chicken that they would often put down their trousers. It was a fairly new thought, to me, my mum and my dad, but not to the Monster, who thought it would be simply life. Who would have imagined, a rubber chicken is the item that was chosen.

The Different Monster always kept a bat that they would sometimes demolish. It was considered to be a fairly bizarre idea, to me, but not to the Monster, who had come to the conclusion it was fun. Remarkably, a bat being the thing selected.

The Different Monster always had with them a cucumber that they would occasionally put on his head. It might have been a fairly original undertaking, to my dad, but not to the Monster, who considered that the idea was entertaining. Who would have imagined, a cucumber would be the item chosen.

The Different Monster searched for a pint of beer that they would often rub on his belly. One might consider this to be a new thought, to you and me, but not to the Monster, who considered that it was in fact, simply life. Who would have imagined, a pint of beer was the thing that was chosen.
