I have a lot of Mood Swings these days

Lately I have been observing that I am getting a lot of mood swings. I keep getting upset and annoyed very fast. Well, that's not my normal self. I am a very relaxed person and I do not get such kind of mood swings. Generally, I take things as they come in life. I do not feel frustrated if things do not happen. I just move on. But in the last few months, I have been observing that I get irritated with people on small matters and I even shout at some instances which is very unusual of me. When I do it, it just occurs but I become mindful immediately and I withdraw but then it is not the right way.

Well probably one of the reasons can be my menopause phase which I have started getting early signs off. And I do understand that there is hormonal imbalance in the process which creates the disturbances in energy of the body. I have been trying to keep my body very fit in this phase with a lot of exercise and good healthy diet but still it looks like it gets on me at times and I am not able to control it. There are moments when I feel very sad, and that's what has been happening lately. I feel sad and upset for small matters. My anxiety level is high. I am consciously trying to keep myself in balance and not react at extremes. One of my friends goes to a Doctor and takes some hormonal treatment. I do not wish to do that. I believe that these are some natural processes of body and they pass with a little hick up. You do not need to stuff yourself with pills to manage these phases. In the olden days never ever did females took any sort of medications, they smoothly sailed through the process, so what is the fuss all about then.

Some moments for a female are tough like during pregnancy also there are similar symptoms because of hormonal imbalance and there are extreme mood swings. Though in this phase they are not such extreme mood swings but still there is a little sway here and there. My hubby thinks I am changing and I try to make him understand that I am not changing at all. I am the same.....hehehe....he thinks my Love for him is becoming less because I am getting annoyed with him for little things......Ufff....how do I make him understand. At times I have to be more careful of his emotions than my own, because he gets very sensitive if he misses my attention.

These are some very subtle changes that the body goes through at different phases of life and one has to be physically, mentally and emotionally fit and strong to go through these phases of life.

True, it is a part of our lifecycle and just need to accept it gracefully
