Thanks, Fiona! It was quiet and mellow (especially with the warm, muggy weather), which was pretty special. The family even braved the not so comfortable kitchen air to sit at the table (which we haven't all done together in a long time, even though we're all under the same roof) for supper. Special indeed!

Use of branches with moon peeking through always looks so attractive, our never ending love affair with the moon never fails us.
Guilty as charged another person who has photo's of the moon never posted, great idea to get them out one day.
I agree, @joanstewart - while I'm in love with how clear my camera can capture the moon's face, I love wandering around the yard, looking for branches to put in front of it! And I hope you get yours posted some day - maybe you should use Moon Monday as an excuse! 😊 🌕 💜

Man I wish I could take shots like that on my phone.
Those tripod shots with a good camera allow for such great zoom, increased exposure and turn out to have such awesome contrast!

Yeah, my hubby has tried to get some shots with his phone, but for as good as the mobile camera is, it still can't hold a candle to the "real" thing...LOL! The first time I took pictures of the moon with this camera, I was blown away and couldn't stop snapping. That was three or four years ago, and I'm still the same with it! 😂
