Kasbah Gate in Rabat

The Kasbah is the wall built around imperial cities in Morocco, like Rabat, Fes, Meknes, Marrakesh, and Tangiers. the Kasbah had a military purpose, and it had several guard towers and large gates which were beautifully decorated. An enemy at the gate had to contemplate the beauty of each gate befor trying to break in.
