How I Manage Sleep As A First Time Mom
After becoming a new mom, I often couldn’t get even three hours of sleep at a stretch because my baby would wake up every 1.5 to 2 hours. Sometimes, feeding and putting the baby back to sleep would take up to 2.5 hours.
To manage this, I created my own routine. First, I motivated myself by thinking, “I can do this.” Once I had this mindset, I started using a simple trick: whenever I feed my baby, I rest my head on a pillow and close my eyes. This way, my body doesn’t get too tired, the baby stays happy, and even with limited sleep, I don’t feel stressed.
