How I Built a ₹0 → ₹1,00,000/Month Coding Business With Just One Laptop (No Office, No Team)

A few months ago, I was sitting with my laptop thinking:
“Will anyone ever trust me as a developer?”
“How do I even get the first client?”

I was not from IIT.
Not from a big company.
Just a self-taught Desi developer with passion in my heart and zero portfolio.
But everything changed the day I completed two websites — real projects for real clients:

🌄 THE BEGINNING — No Clients, Just Dreams
I had skills:
HTML
CSS
JS
WordPress
Basic React
But I had no real work to show.
I decided:
“I will create a clean website for any client who gives me a chance. Even for small money. I need EXPERIENCE.”
So I started messaging people:
Small businesses
Local shops
Friends
Tour agencies
Real estate people
99% ignored.
But 1% replied — and that 1% changed my life.

One day, I got a message:
“Can you build a tourism website?”
My heart started beating fast.
This was my first real opportunity.
I worked like crazy:
Designed the header 5 times
Fixed responsiveness
Added tour packages
SEO basics
WhatsApp integration
Speed optimization
I delivered the site.
The client said:
“I love it. I will send the money.”
When I heard the payment notification…
I felt something I cannot explain.
My first earning as a developer. My first proof that the path was real.

After finishing the first project, I showed that work to another client from the construction industry.
They asked:
“Can you build a professional site for Tejas Infrastructure?”
This project taught me:
How to work professionally
How to structure pages
Handling corporate clients
Using clean UI/UX
Hosting, domain, DNS
Making a fast website that works on all screens
When I delivered this project, something unexpected happened…
The client said:
“I will give your number to others. You work well.”
That ONE sentence started my momentum.

These 7 lessons changed my life:

The first client is the hardest. After that, things move.
2️⃣ Don’t chase money first. Chase EXPERIENCE.
Because experience brings money automatically.
3️⃣ Show your work everywhere — WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn.
People won’t hire you if they don’t know what you can do.
4️⃣ Learn just enough to start — don’t wait to be perfect.
Perfection comes from real projects.
5️⃣ Communication matters more than coding.
Clients trust you if you talk clearly and confidently.
6️⃣ Start small, deliver big.
Even a small project can lead to 10 bigger ones.
7️⃣ Nobody is coming to save you — build your own skill, your own future.
