TIME: THE FINITE RESOURCE

Time is a continuum of events from the past to the future through the present. It is the mysterious thread which transforms the young face maiden into the gray-haired grandmother she becomes five decades later. Irrespective of whether we want it or not, time is ever active and constantly in motion.

Time is an important factor for everyone. As humans, we have this common believe that there will always be time. Yes there is always time for everything and anything not done in its time may never be accomplished. For time lost is lost forever and can never be regained.

Usually, our time diminishes because we are either too late in realizing our purpose in life or we form the habit of procrastination.
By procrastinating, we are gradually loosing time and missing out in the treasures of life. What you fail to do today, will hunt you tomorrow. For this reason, there is a need for us to come to the realization that our time is limited and base on this realization make a number of smart decisions.

One of the smartest decisions we can make is to discover the why behind the time given to us as humans. John foster once said “it is a poor disgraceful thing not to be able to reply with some degree of certainty to the questions what will you be? What will you do?”

When we discover our purpose here on earth, we lead a passionate life that accounts for every second given to us.
The most important thing in life for me is what you have accomplished from age 1 to 50.

Think if it: of what use is buying your first car at the age 90 or having your first child at the age 65? One good thing about life is that it is never too late to begin.

For any youth out there who is yet to discover his or her purpose in life, I will encourage you to start now for time is a respecter of no one, it is not a luxury, but it is a finite resource.
Mother Theresa said “yesterday is gone, tomorrow has not yet come, we have only today. Let’s begin”.

I think this is so important to remember! It is never to late to begin! I feel as if people use that excuse quite often. Instead they should make the best out of today because they can't get this time back. I truly believe in that saying, "Live everyday like it is your last"

Great post :)

Time is so ephemeral that, sometimes, it is better not to pay attention to it; but it's impossible. It constantly marks us, in a parapadear, we are and then no. Being aware of its existence should lead us to strive to achieve our goals.
