Another thing about present is the person who gave you the gift. Eg. my mother gave me gold necklace as a 15th birthday present, like her I'm allergic to metals, especially when I'm sweaty. Took it off during a football game and it got stolen. Dang. I still miss that necklace till today. It's not about the value of it, just that I won't be getting another gift from her.
