RE: Take that DAMN risk!

in #motivation8 years ago

Quit my job without a backup. I know it goes against conventional wisdom, however, my mental well-being was at stake. The constant panic attacks and anxiety that was environmentally induced for the past 2 years was enough. Outside of some concerns with money, it allowed me to hustle to make cash on the side and network with others for a different line of work. And now, I'll be starting a new job, with better pay. I feel if I didn't do this, the vicious cycle would still be the same and I would be miserable at a crappy job.

That is smart! I was on the same boat, But luckily I had multiple side hussles for the last year or so that have grown to support me fairly well. It's good you got a better job, Having your mental well being at stake is never good.
