Personal balance: Strategies to feel better

in #motivationlast month

Professional and personal lives must be balanced for personal equilibrium.

Conciliating these two factors, whether through teleworking, workplace changes, or unpaid leave, is crucial.

Finding balance helps you be happy and balanced, which is the most important thing in life.

Managing emails, job schedules, and parenting can strain family life.

Delegating, disconnection, free time, and managerial flexibility help people develop and establish a balance between work and life.

Work organisation is necessary for this. Because the line between work and home is blurred, your well-being depends on your job (part-time, freelancing, flexible hours, conciliation policy, etc.).

Finding the correct balance means finding yourself and balancing family and work with who you are. Parents and children must strike a balance between themselves and their environment to maintain a particular personal equilibrium in life and family. It's about balancing personal goals and family obligations to thrive.

We must accept our distinctiveness in all forms. Accepting your flaws, strengths, and weaknesses and taking responsibility for them. You can't please everyone. You must accept your limitations and embrace your uniqueness. When seeking affection and acceptance, we tend to gravitate towards genuine individuals who are not constantly striving for perfection.

Introversion and extroversion help us understand people's personalities and refresh our batteries. Extroverts need external stimulation since they feed off others. To rejuvenate, introverts seek solitude. One of these two traits usually dominates, yet we are neither.

Understanding our sleep patterns, ovulation cycles, biological clock, and embracing being in excellent form then losing morale without explanation is part of accepting who we are. You must listen to your thoughts, intuition, and body.

You must take breaks often to avoid running out of time. Relentlessness in work and home is counterproductive. Your body will give out, your shoulders will drop, and you can't keep up the fast pace.

Give yourself time to relax!

You own your body. Do not abuse, starve, or overwork your stomach. Body should reflect mind: balanced, harmonious, active. Regular exercise is crucial. Hiking, running, cycling, or yoga. The goal is to move.

You may be solicited as often as you allow it. It's crucial to know how to say no, but this advice is hard to follow, especially for people who struggle most with saying no.

As a freelancer, strive to provide your time depending on what is offered (is it monetarily interesting?), not your availability. Your time (and life) is limited.

Balance demands doubt. Not feeling well? Write down why. Take action if the cause is a bad relationship, a burdensome work, or a hostile environment. You don't have to live in an unchosen setting.

Do your family, friends, and coworkers lack time to handle their issues? Does that apply to you? Think about what's affecting your balance.
