THERE ARE NO EXCUSES.
This is probably the hardest lesson I have had to learn in life and one I have reiterated over the week and it is simple: there are no excuses for not getting what you want to be done.
Everything you deem impossible has been done by someone with less intelligence, capital and social influence than you currently possess. You might want to excuse the facts but you know regardless that it is the truth.
Khaby.lame on TikTok makes over $200k in monthly revenue from TikTok just by posting simple fun videos with his iPhone. He doesn't need any expensive gear (one of the excuses I make). He just creates, and as a creator who is always setting limitations on himself, it stings a little.
Oh my content isn't up to industry standards
I don't have the right gear
I don't even know what I am doing
Who cares what I put out?
These are just ways we self-sabotage and the end product of that is regret. You spend the rest of your life knowing you could have done something to improve your life but you never took it because you were scared.
It gets even worse when you see other people overcome those limitations you put on yourself to achieve great feats. The thought alone becomes a scar you carry for the rest of your life
Now comparing yourself to others might suck out the joy in your life but at what point does that joy become irrelevant? You are not advancing in ways you want? You keep making excuses to comfort yourself and in the end you hate the life you live.
A little nudge in the right direction isn't a bad thing. Sometimes it is good to see other people succeed to inspire us to take the leap needed to change our lives.
YOU DON'T WANT TO CHANGE.
If you find yourself struggling with anything it is mostly because you don't want it enough. You hear someone struggling with their business complaining about capital. When you ask specific questions about their supposed need they become aloof.
They do not know what it takes to bring about the change they want. All they do is daydream and there is a clear difference between a dreamer and an achiever, the latter gets things done.
So it is either you come to terms with the fact that you really don't want to do these things or find a strong reason to do them. Easier said than done but that is all it takes most times.
FEED OFF POSITIVE ENERGY
I love to see people do stuff and defy the odds stacked against them. It is a great emotional boost for me and an honest reminder that I can put my life in the right direction if only I want to.
At the end of the day, you want to get the things you want done and not leave room for regrets. If you've failed in the past, that's no reason to fail now. You have the chance to right your wrongs. From your failures are lessons that can help improve your next attempt at your goal.
In conclusion, I urge everyone to pursue the life they want and stop making excuses. It is difficult, not impossible. Cheers!
