Can you remember the last job for which you applied? Or how you met your best friend? Or how it came about that you attempted the greatest thing you ever accomplished? Can you remember how you got to hear about and investigate Steemit?
Can you remember how many random and completely unexpected events occurred for any of the above to happen? Things that you were unable to plan or control?
I want to suggest to you that anything can happen in your life this week. This can be the week that you meet a stranger that can become your best friend ever. This can be the week that you discover a new opportunity that could impact your future for the best. So many things can happen this week!
Sometimes the randomness of it all can make me nervous. I'm naturally a bit of a control freak and would prefer to be in control of my life and of that very uncontrollable thing called 'tomorrow'.
This may be different for some of you but I find peace in the midst of all this randomness by turning to the One who controls it all. Many years ago Bill and Gloria Gaither penned these words as they faced an uncertain time. The song became a part of my childhood and understanding of the randomness of events.
Because He lives, all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living,
Just because He lives!
My wife often speaks of 'divine appointments' when we look into an unknown future and anticipate what could possibly happen. We hope and pray for such divine appointments that will impact our lives from a benevolent hand.
You may have a different perspective but whatever your perspective, this week so many things may come your way. May it be good things. And may you wake up each morning with childlike anticipation wondering what may happen. Most of all, may you be ready to grab a hold of whatever amazing opportunity may show up.
Walk through that next open door! You may not know what is on the other side but everything may change. Just be ready!

I sure hope you are right. I need some good news right about now. The new place I just moved has no wifi if you can believe that. What a mess. I'm at my friend's office in the middle of the night right now to use her wifi when no one else is here. Dragging my laptop in a suitcase is great fun in Malaysia!
I came to thank you for your votes for me and see you are not posting much. I hope everything is ok and maybe you are taking a rest with this awful price drop.
I am looking for a miracle or ten :)
This is a good way to live your life.
I usually manifest and let the universe take over the course. Jut believe.
I like your simple style and faith. Keep telling it pure and sweet.
I open the door and hope to see big nature.

@reonlouw I love the song 'Because He Lives'! 😇 Thank you for the reminder - currently facing some uncertainty in life but this helps. All things work together for good to those who love God.

howdy sir reonlouw! I love this post, very encouraging in a discouraging world! haha. But we if we feel chained up we know the Chain Breaker! lol.
Whilst I may not agree with the religious part of the quoted text, I do believe one needs to have faith in what they are doing. Believing that everything will be alright and that you will do whatever you can to make it alright. I'm sure there is a bigger picture out there but the truth is, you can only live in the present - take what opportunities present themselves, attack things with an open mind and see how different things will be :)
