Morning Weigh In - On My Way Down
So steemit I have made my diet very transparent...I always show/tell you guys what I have been putting into my body...
Notice the week I ate allllll kinds of junk my weight was like 10lbs higher? but what happened? where did that all go? Well before being converted to fat the food gets converted into a sugar called glycogen...this glycogen is stored in muscles and in the liver...I weight train so my muscles are much bigger than if I were not to weight train, thus giving me a lot of room to store this glycogen...
Also for every gram of glycogen around 4 grams of water is binded to it...so all that weigh was just store sugar with water.... had I continued to eat that garbage the sugar stores would be full and then the excess glycogen would spill over and get stored as fat...before it got to that point I stopped eating the junk and started to lift weights at the gym.
Weight lifting is key to using up stored muscle glycogen, when you lift, especially when you lift heavy, the glycogen in the muscles being worked out are used for immediate energy, then when you eat the energy from the food goes directly to the muscles to refill them before they even think about being stored as fat...I will make a few longer posts in the coming days explaining how you can manipulate your hormones to lose fat and gain muscle without doing anything complicated or difficult....
We all have infinite potential...are you surpassing yours on a day to day basis?
