How to show reverence for your own rhythms and those of otherssteemCreated with Sketch.

Being and letting. Although simple, this principle is not applied. We don't realise we all have a rhythm, inner melody, and manner of perceiving and feeling things. Maybe we feel obligated to protect ourselves from those who try to tune us out and play with our emotions.

So rhythm matters. Our awareness of this delicate and unknown issue is limited. Unfortunately, we are nearly obsessed with speeding this pace at all levels. Early reading and writing are essential for kids. Teens must act like adults, and adults compare themselves to others' rhythms.

We forget that to achieve true inner harmony, we must not use money, power, or status as references or focus on what we lack and what others have. If we continue this way, we will only beg and circle to primitive and wild music.

Real harmony starts with oneself. Only calm, self-knowledge, and humility when nothing is excess or lacking balance the universe as if by magic. Because happiness is within us, no matter the world's speed or others' demands.

In Alice Through the Looking Glass, Lewis Carroll presents a moment of reflection that scientists and sociologists exploited to construct the “Red Queen Hypothesis”. After chatting, the Queen takes Alice by the hand to start an errand in this character's kingdom. She must because everyone runs fast in that planet.

Alice quickly realises that going fast doesn't help. After some time, the Queen explains: "To stay here, you must run a lot. But to get there, you must run twice as fast.” Similar things happen in our society. Accelerating the child's pace beyond his age increases his chances of academic success.

If we show others we can accomplish more than we can, we may succeed. We only achieve sadness. A harsh environment forces us to go faster, stealing our time, quiet, and life.

When everyone runs, nothing grows. Because everything in life involves cooking, elaboration, and maceration... To reach inner harmony, we must connect with ourselves to do something difficult: cease being what others expect.

We whirl like tops in a dance hall. others travel quicker, others slower, some halt sometimes, and the remainder go so fast they crash. Being and letting go is hard, and circumstances might overwhelm you.

Learn your heartbeat, observe nature, and respect your inner song, which gives you power.

However, you cannot perform miracles or cure life's aches. It is important to realise that self-esteem recovery takes time. According to Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, the more nervous we are, the less likely we are to achieve this natural equilibrium of life.

Daily time, willpower, and perseverance are needed to acquire inner tranquilly. Understanding that change requires responsibility allows us to use the following strategies:

Be mindful of your “baggage”. Received education, high perfectionism, the urge to please, and low self-esteem are foes that must be considered.

Now examine your habits. What do you do daily? What worries or dissatisfies you? If things make you sad, why keep doing them?
