Loss of morale among young people: how to help them?

in #motivation2 months ago

During the covid 19 epidemic, many young people returned to the family fold, making it harder for them to emancipate themselves. Even if returning home saddens those who can, they are less isolated and relatives can boost their moods. Do how?

What can we do to boost youth confidence? How can we help youth with low morale, stress, or discouragement?

First and foremost, youth must be guilt-free. The perception of young people as selfish or irresponsible, the negative portrayal they receive, the speeches that blame them for contamination, that they only party, that they don't care about barrier gestures, that they caused the second, third, or fourth wave, etc. STOP!

This sentence affects them deeply. Their morale drops. From the first incarceration, young people bravely accepted their sudden loss of freedom to safeguard elders. Young people aged 18-24 went out the least, while those aged 65-75 went out more.
Such claims are false and unfair. Feeling loved and valued is key to morale.

If at home or elsewhere. They need to feel heard, understood, and considered when their self-esteem and confidence plummet. If you're unavailable, ask friends or professionals.

This will convince them that they are not alone in feeling down. Feeling fragile is typical during this trying time. They need reassurance.

Walk, bike, and craft outside with respect for day and night. Avoid giving him all the chores just because he's around and has nothing else to do. Because he's crucial to the family's operation, he engages in family tasks.

Avoid overloading him with injunctions. However, independent suggestions are great. Motivating activities and finishing the day boosts morale.

Ask him about his sleep and how to improve it. Our sleep quality greatly impacts our thoughts, which in turn impacts our sleep.
Sophie does relaxation exercises and a meditation for deep sleep in this video. I love Sophie's videos. Her channel is excellent!

Clarifying feelings helps manage them. They must be expressed first. Name your emotions to accept and distance yourself. I feel depressed, frustrated, and discouraged. Given your situation, there is nothing abnormal, and it is important to recognise that.

The young guy must face his morale deterioration and psychological pain. This will help him consider his condition when making decisions. What could make you happier? You need what? Can you satisfy this need?

When the young person says “it's over” or “I'll achieve nothing” or “my life is ruined,” remind him that this crisis will end and his life will be longer. Open the window to the sea while listening to his bad emotions, and consider trying to...

Focus on his tasks. You will explore his acting potential.
Massage, relaxation, meditation, etc. can help him relax.

Denying the young person his ability to act makes this period tough.

Thus, developing this potential through many mediations—making a meal, game/shelf, summarising a book, power point, reorganising your space, drawing, playing the guitar, or modelling clay—will help as long as he loves it.

Find ways to stimulate him to keep him from brooding or numbing his brain with devices.

Young persons in psychological distress are vulnerable to others' attention. Helping and supporting them means believing in them. Young people are resourceful and need our support and appreciation.
The world of tomorrow will be built by them. Tomorrow's society hinges on youth well-being.
