Actually had the morning and afternoon to myself.

Normally I spend the afternoon looking after my daughter, though today I wangled a free day off. :-)

So I put this pocket rocket Sachs xtc 125 back together, it has sat in my workshop for 5 months, and not seen the daylight since.
I unrestricted it last year and fitted a power valve servo, for a full 32bhp of fun.

Want to see the other side?.....

In fairly typical style

It had been overcast and quite cool while I worked outside putting that bike back together, as soon as I finished and put it away, along with a few others, the sun came out, just in time for me to head indoors to do some electrical work and make 1 ignition switch from two on my Yamaha rd 350lc ypvs (1985 is the vintage.)

Not quite enough hours in today to strip the Yamaha rd 80 mx (that you see laying on the ground) down, to restore it and paint it, always tomorrow, I hope.

Off to make some food and soak in the bath, have a superb day one and all, @shepz1 is outta here.

Very productive ;)

Cheers my friend, do you know if the screens or wind deflectors are still available for these in Germany?....

I bet so!
You just need the connections to some collectors^^

Probably even on eBay..

But these are just guesses. I just really know the parts situation of my yamaha xt 500 ^^

Only 2 on evilbay, and both over 110 euros, not paying that for a bit of perspex, not in this lifetime anyway.

Haha who needs these plastics anyways

Not me at that price. :-)

Bike looks great mate hope get a nice day to have a ride on it soon.

Rules are for fools lol. :-)

That bike looks class. You ever do any Triumphs in your time ?

Done a few classic Triumphs, not of late though, and was offered a Job in engineering years back, at the new Triumph factory near Hinckley, turned it down though, conflict of interests. :-)

Did that bubble bath come complete with a sneak into the girls bath bubbles, maybe the wife's most comfortable fuzzy robe and a pair of certain slippers....?

Sadly only the slippers part made it into the story, as the good lady was at work still. :-(
