I've just bought and restored the exact same bike. Took me over 4 weeks, maybe ill write about it, and finally back on the road. Great machine, so much fun!
Much as I enjoy riding it, it's old & getting parts & a mechanic with a workshop capable of something as simple as taking the cylinder head off is a logistical nightmare for me over here...
I can do the basics, but anything at all involved means getting it 500 odd km away... so even fairly simple things are ridiculously expensive and time consuming... :(
