Cool bike. I don't know anything about all these Chinese manufacturers. It was mostly Japanese when I was riding. I've heard the Chinese copy some of their designs,but as long as the build quality is good that's not your problem. Hope you have many happy miles on it
Thanks Steve. The Chinese market is beginning to grow in the US now. It was mostly Japanese bikes here too. My understanding is that most of the engines are Honda clones from 70's engine designs. Which is really great because those are the bikes I worked on as a kid. Maintenance is fairly simple, and my understanding is I can replace parts from about 3 or 4 different bikes. It's been a really interesting project to research. I'll have to see how she holds up over time :)
A friend has a little Chinese cruiser, but I don't even know what make it is. It's good if you can get cheap parts and it's easy to maintain.
I was looking at a Chinese chopper online the other day. The parts are super cheap as long you can find them! Fun project bikes for sure.
