The 12 most seen movies in history.....
Below is the list of the most lucrative films of all time, based on the world box office revenues, without taking into account the inflation having affected the price of movie tickets over time
The world's growing population and inflation also (the price of a movie ticket has particularly increased over time), these figures do not reflect well the popularity of a film throughout the decades.
For example, in the United States and Europe, the film with the most important ticket sales is Gone with the Wind. The success of this film, distributed from 1939 onwards, is to be put into perspective with the promotional means, the level of development of the exploitation networks and the habits of spectators of the time. Moreover, this picture also does not take into account the great Soviet successes (the Soviet spectator, on the average, went twelve times a year to cinema, twice as much as today in the most cinematic regions of the West )
List of the biggest box office successes worldwide:
1st: Avatar (2009) with $ 2.78 billion in revenue. It is in fact thanks to the number of dollars earned by the release of films in theaters that one can establish the ranking of the most widely seen feature films in the world. Avatar thus appears as the indisputable champion with more than 900 million dollars difference between his recipes and those of the second film of the classification.

2-Titanic (1997): $ 2.1 billion in revenue. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are in a boat. Leonardo falls into the water. Who stays on the raft? The whole world knows the answer to this question, given the number of dollars of revenue reported by the film. A success such that it even offered a second life on the big screen in 2012 with a new release in 3D.

4-Jurassic World (2015): $ 1.6 billion in revenue. Few people were counting on the return of the franchise to the dinosaurs and yet ... Chris Pratt is incredible in Jurassic World and director Colin Trevorrow did a great job!

5-Avengers (2012): $ 1.5 billion in revenue. The superheroes are joining forces to save the planet from an alien threat in this action movie that has relegated to the depths of the box office all the previous films devoted to The Marvel universe

6-Fast and Furious 7 (2015): $ 1.5 billion in revenue. Despite the death of the actor Paul Walker who was in the shooting of the film, Fast and Furious 7 managed to win at the world box office. The eighth episode should also make a sensation in the dark rooms.

7-Avengers: Ultron's Era (2015): $ 1.4 billion in revenue. The highly anticipated sequel did not manage to do as well as the first opus, but still ranks in the top ten. Hat!

8-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 (2011): $ 1.34 billion in revenue. The adventures of the sorcerer's apprentice have been so successful from their debut on the big screen that it is not surprising that the ultimate episode arrives in the top 3 of this ranking.

9-The Queen of Snow (2013): $ 1.2 billion in revenue. The Snow Queen is the animated film that earned the most money at the world box office. So it's no wonder that the Disney studios are preparing a sequel to the cartoon loved by millions of spectators!

10-Iron Man 3 (2013): $ 1.2 billion in revenue. The last solo adventure of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, reported big at Marvel Studios. Unfortunately, no follow-up is planned ...

11-The Minions (2016): $ 1.1 billion in revenue. For their first solo adventure, the little yellow creatures that appeared for the first time in "Me, ugly and wicked" hit hard! More than a billion dollars in revenue worldwide.

12- Captain America: Civil War (2016): $ 1.1 billion in revenue. For his third opus, Cap 'is strong and brings a little more than a billion dollars to the studios Marvel.
