Taare Zameen Par: A Beautiful Message About Every Child Being Special

in #movie26 days ago

There are a lot of movies that I have seen over the last few years, but very few of them have been close to my heart for different reasons.

Some movies are close to me because I love the action in them. Some taught me great life lessons. But today, I am going to talk about my favorite movie and explain why it is my favorite.

My favorite movie is Taare Zameen Par, and it is one of the most unique and beautiful movies I have ever seen in my life.

The movie challenged the education system back in 2007, the year it was released.

Even today, in 2025, people have started speaking up against the education system and how it needs reform so that children feel more comfortable and understood

The movie explains why every child is special. Children are like stars, each with a unique brilliance that needs discovery, not molding.

Apart from this, the movie also highlighted dyslexia, which is a learning disability found in many children. It is often misunderstood and can lead to low confidence in children.

The movie also taught us empathy and patience. It showed a compassionate teacher named Ram Shankar Nikumbh, who used patience and creative methods to connect with children.

This is something very rare to see in today’s education system, and teachers can learn a lot from the role played by Aamir Khan.

The movie also focused on the role of parents. It showed that anger and punishment are not solutions, especially when a child is struggling with dyslexia.

In the movie, the child used to see letters dancing in front of his eyes while studying. If a son or daughter is going through something similar, parents need to be patient and supportive.

Even if they cannot guide the child directly, they should understand that every child is unique and needs support to walk their own path in life.

In the movie, the child was good at art, and when he was supported in that field, he performed exceptionally well. This shows how important it is to identify and nurture a child’s talent.

I believe this movie has had a very strong societal impact. It increased awareness among parents about learning disabilities in children and highlighted the urgent need for educational reform. That is why Taare Zameen Par is definitely my favorite movie.
