AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - NO SPOILER review

in #movie7 years ago

Avengers: Infinity War.
It's practically the most ambitious crossover that commercial cinema has ever conceived to this point: an extra-large family reunion, the ten-year total of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Everyone was waiting for this film. I went to see it at the cinema last night and since yesterday evening I have been in shock.
I'm NOT going to make spoilers, you can rest assured and keep reading my review!

Everything starts again after the Civil War, the Avengers are divided after those events, but they must join their forces to fight a threat that puts humanity at risk: the gigantic Thanos.
One of the things that perhaps amazes me the most is that All the heroes of the Marvel Universe have come to have complicated relationships with each other, there are so many romantic couples, so many enmities and even longstanding relationships that we have seen be born. Rarely in cinema we've experienced such a long construction of relationships, it was not obvious that Infinity War exploited its particularity and the Russo brothers are very good indeed.

To avoid the threat of the Titan, it will really need the contribution of all at their best, because the fearsome villain is determined as never before to take possession of the Gems of Infinity, which would ensure total control of reality and the ability to completely subvert the fate and destiny of the universe.
The Gems of Infinity are to be enclosed in a potentially omnipotent glove, which obviously in the wrong hands becomes destructive and apocalyptic.

Thanos is a well-defined character, sometimes also human and with feelings. There are contradictory feelings towards him, therefore. I could not feel hatred against him, like a classic villain, but rather, he acts so moved by an ethics all his own, opposed to the protagonists clearly, but is not the classic selfish, quite the contrary.
It is immediately clear that we are not dealing with good against evil, but with two visions of what society should be (even ours, since the problems Thanos refers to are the same as those of our planet) that clash in an extreme way.

From the very first scenes it is like a huge being, difficult to beat. You really understand immediately that the Avengers have to work hard and that surely will not be the classic movie where the good triumphs in the end and everyone returns home happy and safe.
Once the film is over, especially after the last scenes, without revealing anything, you'll be in front of the screen wondering what you've just seen, in shock. And trust me, it will take you quite some time to recover!

Wherever battles are fought to counteract this enormous power, the sets are breathtaking, to say the least, with special effects worthy of note. Much space given to the reign of Black Panther, the reign of Wakanda, evidently after the great success of his movie. There will take place some of the most important scenes of the entire movie.

The reckoning of this battle is comic and very serious, it is total and with no return.
The teasing and jokes are not lacking, thanks mainly to the ironic Guardians of the Galaxy.
Laughs, applauses... and then the shock.
So get ready for one of the most epic movie ever.
Be careful to find the legendary Stan Lee... and I recommend, don't leave the cinema before the closing credits :P
