Altered Carbon Review(short)

Altered Carbon is a sci-fi action show that follows the life of Takeshi Kovacs, witch has to resolve the murder of Laurens Bancroft, a very rich and important person.

The show takes place in a futuristic world where people can change their bodies(sleeves) in case they suffer an awful accident or are too old(only if they have the money to pay for the new sleeve).Of course they can really die if their stack(some kind of chip where their memory is stored) is destroyed, but it is a way of avoiding that too but is very expensive.

Takeshi Kovacs is brought back after 250 years in the dark after betraying special forces and then running from them witch got his last sleeve killed. He is brought back by Bancroft(he was murdered but is still alive) to find out who killed him, Kovacs being the perfect person for the job.

The story is based on the life of Kovacs and his struggle with the new life and the fact that he lost all the persons that he knew in his other life, this being shown with flashbacks of the past in all the episodes. When it comes to acting every actor in this show delivers a good impersonation if the character that they play. The budget for this show is very good compared to other shows witch can be seen in all the cgi or the number of location used. This story is very well shown and without moments that can bore you.

If I had to give it a mark it will be 9/10.
