Shaky Cam - Oops, You're Hypnotized
Shaky Cam is Coming to a Theater Near You
Why is the shaky cam so prevalent in TV programs and movies today even though so many people hate the technique? It is being pawned off as being artistic or explained as a low cost method of shooting action sequences. Are either of those really the reason? IMHO the purpose of a shaky cam is to help put you in a hypnotic state so that you will be more susceptible to subliminal programming. That is why it is used.
A shaky camera makes the viewer feel physically distressed (queasy, motion sick). In this state the viewer is more open to either visual or audio subliminal messages. And don't think they are not telling you what they are doing on their "tell-a-vision" when you tune into their "channel" and watch their TV "programming".
What about the director? Doesn't he have artistic control? Not these days, now block buster action sequences are shot by a separate team without the director's presence. The shaky cam often invades dialogue too and it's there for a reason, it just doesn't have anything to do with the plot.
So be aware as you are watching your favorite TV show or movie. The more the camera shakes the more you are being setup to be programmed. So who knows, maybe one day this programming will triggered by some keyword or event and masses of people will be fighting in the streets. My advice is DON"T be one of them!
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
