Let's be honest, we all have those characters in books, movies, and TV shows who just rub us the wrong way. They're whiny, they're annoying, they make terrible decisions, and sometimes, just sometimes, we find ourselves rooting for their untimely demise. It's not that we're bad people, it's just that these fictional folks can be really hard to stomach!

From the overly optimistic to the endlessly dramatic, there's a whole gallery of characters out there who have inspired a collective groan from audiences worldwide. These are the ones who make you want to shout at the screen, "Just stop talking!" or "Why would you do that?!"
