Jared Leto Will So Vampire in Spin-Off Spider-Man 'Morbius'

Not content to play Joker from DC , Jared Leto was finally annexed the character of Marvel named Morbius . The Living Vampire nicknamed Leto in Spider-Man spinoff production of Sony Pictures , where the sci-fi Life thriller (2017) pembesut, Daniel Espinosa , was selected as a director.



According to news from Variety , Leto had met a number of directors before he agreed to star in the film titled Morbius this. This meeting was conducted by Leto because he wanted to make sure the film project was handled properly, and after meeting Espinosa last month in Germany while holding a tour with his band Thirty Seconds to Mars , Leto finally felt confident to join in Morbius. The script of the movie itself was written by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama ( Lost in Space ).



FYI, Morbius the Living Vampire debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man comic # 101 . Technically, Morbius is not a true vampire. Because, the soul of a blood-sucking creature grows in Morbius, after he experimented on him to treat rare blood diseases. After this experiment ends up failing, Morbius has fangs and needs blood to survive. Although Morbius's bite can be deadly, the victim does not turn into a vampire. In his comic, Morius is known as one of Spider-Man's enemies.



Before Morbius, Leto played a comic character by playing in Suicide Squad as Joker. Although the DC Extended Universe movie is flooded with scathing criticism, it counts financially successful, spawning a sequel ( Suicide Squad 2 ), followed by two spin-offs of Harley Quinn plus Joker Leto. While the three projects do not have a filming schedule, Morbius reportedly has the potential to shoot this year 2018. As a result, the possibility of Leto will act first as the vampire, before re-playing the iconic enemies Batman .



For now, there are some Spider-Man spin-offs developed by Sony besides Morbius, which are Silver and Black , Silk and Nightwatch . While Venom - Spider-Man spin-off premiere from Sony - ready for release October 5, 2018.
