'Wonder Woman 2' Announce Official Title, Steve Trevor Ensured Again

With the process of filming that has been running since a few weeks ago, the sequel Wonder Woman finally released details of the official title of the movie as well as an important character that will return. Through his Twitter account, director Patty Jenkins announced the sequel was titled Wonder Woman 1984 . And interestingly, Jenkins also confirmed Chris Pine will return as Steve Trevor's pilot, following Gal Gadot who still plays Wonder Woman.
Regarding the title of the sequel, some consider this subtitle inspired by George Orwell 's 1984 classic novel, where the novel highlights corrupt government and espionage actions that violate the privacy rights of civil society. 1984 may also refer to the setting of sequel stories, and this is further strengthened by Pine shooting photos dressed in 80s era outfits.
Speaking of Pine characters, it is not known exactly how Trevor could reappear, after he sacrificed himself in the first film. But speculation in circulation mentions, there are several things that allow Trevor back, including magic, cloning process up to time travel. In the previous movie, Trevor himself played a vital role in the Wonder Woman journey. In addition to being the love interest of the superhero, Trevor also helped Wonder Woman on the battlefield, and most importantly, he opened Diana's eyes that the human world is full of moral ambiguity and not as simple as Diana imagined.
According to the latest news, Pine and Gadot have been filming in the mall, and this raises the notion that at this mall the Cheetah villas played by Kristen Wiig will be introduced. Especially in the comic series Wonder Woman Rebirth there is a section that tells Diana and Cheetah are in the mall, the same location shown Pine photos released Jenkins.
Although there is no official synopsis yet, the 1984 Wonder Woman title indicates the film will have political elements. The plan of this sequel will be released 1 November 2019.
