RE: Zombieland Double Tap Review, Fun but Missing Something

in #movies6 years ago

I agree.

I watched this movie some months ago & while overall I did enjoy it, I definitely feel it was the weakest of the 2. Almost like it may nave been rushed, or didn't get proper funding os something.

Goes to show how strong of a concept Zombieland is, though. Even when not as much polish is put into the final product, it still turns out to be a fun experience.

3rd would be nice, but I wouldn't mind it ending here, at least saving us from the risk of a reboot or an even worse movie ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I think a lot of the weakness fans like you and me feel is because the first Zombieland was just so unique and fun. That and we have had a decade to think and wonder and wish for a sequel that leaves the sequel never being able to live up to what we wanted.

It is sad. Had they done a sequel two or three years after the first and it was like this I would probably be screaming from the top of Babylon how awesome it is.

It is hard to pinpoint the problem but fans like you and me have that feeling there is just something missing here. Not the usual sequel missing stuff though, something else.

Still a fun romp and worth the price of admission, just doesn't warrant multiple viewings too close together.

Yeah, exactly! Great way to put it.

Well, at least we always have the first one to go back to :^)
