Ye Banned In UK Over Jewish Comments But Now May Apologize?
The fact that Ye (Kanye West) has been banned from entering the UK, reportedly due to his public comments alleging that Jewish people exert disproportionate control over the media and governments, strikes me as ironic.
To resolve the ban and potentially regain entry, Ye is now expected to engage in discussions or meetings with members of the UK’s Jewish community about expressing such views more sensitively.
Doesn’t the requirement that he must meet with representatives of the Jewish community to address this issue itself suggest that Jewish organizations or individuals hold significant influence in UK political and cultural decisions? If so, why do certain members of the Jewish community appear to wield such notable sway in matters of UK immigration policy and public discourse?
If we are going to beleive in the farce of the United Kingdom's free speech policies, then surely Ye's openness shouldn't need cultural groveling to a specific religious group.
