Synesthesia Review: Ceasar Supreme - CoughCeasan (Cuff Season)
Gated Community has a new MVP in Supreme with CC showcasing all he's strengths.
Love and relationships are the recurring themes that run throughout the album. That doesn't take away from the lyricism at all. There are witty lines littered across the board. The runtime is kept less than an hour making for a fun listening session with some slang intertwined into some songs.
The majority of production comes courtesy of GC affiliates Ill Major and Echelon. There's also a nod given to Aycee Rxxkless on a few tracks. Ceasar flexes he's verses and perfectly melds them onto wax. This is where instrumentation and vocals are in perfect unison; making for a high quality release without flaws.
The project also shows that Supreme has a presence strong enough to carry this almost entirely on he's own. The only features come from GC's very own Tara and Chizzy. Both come at the tail end and add a layer of depth that felt missing, especially Tara's vocals. They make the album not sound mundane.
Ceasar Supreme is definitely the future of hip-hop as he allows he's music to speak for him, he's an exquisite rapper.
