Cello to sooth the souls of specimens: a Steemian special performance
I had the opportunity to visit @dhimmel and @trang in Philadelphia, while in town for a friend's wedding where I was to play cello. @dhimmel and I had arranged his specimens on the wall earlier in the day. As evening rolled around, I performed "Prayer from Jewish Life" by Ernest Bloch to commemorate this special occasion and christen the exhibit. Filming by @dhimmel and lighting by @trang.
Looking forward to your feedback about the performance and venue!

Awesome performance, @gourmetcellist. You, @dhimmel and @trang make a great team together and I hope to see more of your cello videos. The venue was well set up, too!
Fantastic! What an honor to have hosted you and take part in this legendary artistic experience.
The chords are breathtaking and harrowing and the wall could not have turned out better. Some Steemians may remember the origin of the deer skull, featured prominently in the video, as my Epic 80-mile bike ride to Limerick's Nuclear Reactors.
Here is the cover photo for the video (sometimes @dtube seems to have some trouble displaying things):
Wonderful! Thank god the exhibit is now christened!
Welcome back to Steem after a few dormant months.
@trang it was wonderful to be in Philadelphia at your home and experience true Vietnamese coffee from your city in the southwest of that land.
The exhibit is just getting started. I cannot wait to see what @dhimmel produces next.
We have world famous 2Cellos coming from Slovenia and Croatia. If they'll ever look for a 3rd cello, I see who they need to look for. Glad to see @trang and @dhimmel helped you out with this fine video.
Funny I searched 2Cellos and came to this YouTube video (which it turns out I had already liked in the past):
Have you seen them live?
Yeah, I was lucky enough to see them live. They are awesome! If you will ever have a chance to visit one of their shows, I higly recommend you do that, @dhimmel.
Since @dtube no longer seems to be hosting the actual video file (disappointing), I've crossposted the video on YouTube:
