'Bubbledrum2' - New Original Music - Expanding/Editing Yesterday's Rough Idea - Electronic/Instrumental + Walkthrough

the song idea from yesterday was expanded and tweaked quite a bit. There aren't really any new instruments yet, aside from 2 tracks which I'll get to, so I'm a little lacking on screenshots to, but I'll try and make do, hehe. Track 3, the bubbly effected drum part, still continues for the whole song, though I think I'm going to have it take a little break in the middle, and change the ending to play that break part again, as everything fades out, so the tune will definitely get longer. Track 12 is the important part of that break, and adds those digitized snare rolls; after adding this I realized it would be cool to have that part get really digital and synthesized, before fading back into the bubbly, liquidy drums and the regular progression. I figured that the last minute of the song could refrain to that as well, so I need to decide on some cool transitional sounds and elements to make those changes natural (ish).

has been almost completely removed, and now just hits at the start of each section; unfortunately, the Portal effect causes it to play later than the downbeat, so I need to bounce that to audio, and warp it a little before deciding if its making the cut. Track 4, the bass, actually begins how I intended, with the line pitched up an octave. However, after the initial fade out, I forgot to copy-paste that new octave higher line over the rest of the song, so it goes back to the super low, muddy version from yesterday, so that'll need to be fixed as well. I simplified the chord part in Track 6, having it play less often, and added one little variation in Track 8 at the end. Finally, I added another instance of Track 10's instrument in Track 11, and had it play a line harmonizing with Track 10. These are a little louder and more obvious in this version, but still in the backdrop somewhat, which turned out to sound better.
