Is Kanye West a prodigy?

What about friends steemians, greetings to all, I was absent for a few days for health reasons and I could not connect to post or record videos, but from now on I will be more active. In this period I devoted myself to write and listen to a lot of music, it was two weeks of premieres and what caught my attention was that a name appeared in most of the credits, Kanye West ...

West will always be a controversy, either because of his comments, relationships or music, he is one of those artists who is loved by many and hated by others, but what can not be denied is that he is a reference of the modern hiphop and has demonstrated in the following three jobs where he stands out as a producer, these are Daytona by Pusha T, Ye by Kanye West himself and Kids See Gosth in collaboration with Kid Cudi, to finish off in a few days the new album by Nas will be produced by him. That has led me to a question, is it really a prodigy of music as a producer?

If you just learn that Kanye West is not just a rapper, do not worry here I share some of your best collaborations as a producer. (Just to mention a few since the list is very long)

Now that you know that those classics are produced by Ye, we are in the same context, let's talk about the last 3 Ep's that he produces.

I think this album achieved a greater hype due to the beef against Drake which Pusha T wins indisputably and by unanimous decision with the track The History of Adidon (that does not belong to this album). Leaving aside this event the Ep shines by itself and I dare to say that so far is the best work of Pusha. In terms of production Ye is responsible for giving pulse to a somewhat hostile raps achieving an aggressive progression from "If You Know You Know" playing songs in which we already know that the rapper feels very comfortable as it is cocaine addiction and closing with the subtlety of a gospel choir in Infrared which I think is the least showy track, Pusha returns a bit the values to the hiphop, they already know, the egotrip, the aggressiveness in their lyrics, the dangerous and foul-mouthed that I hope creates a trend in the mainstream HH, which is not that I pick up the black thread since there are many more rappers who still maintain this essence.

I want to start by putting something on the table, the rapping of Kanye West does not surprise me much from Yezzus that although in mkt has been one of his best moves, rap I do not hooked at all and let's not talk about Life of Pablo that was irrelevant. The most uncomfortable thing is that you have to be objective to give a rating or review of a KW album since your actions and statements create an image that you do not have to relevance in your music, it is enough to say that you have the ego as big as his friend Trump, but here what interests us is his music. Personally this album confirms that Kanye has a musical talent that can not be discussed, the melodies of each of the tracks are very good, it makes you on the way you are transporting each time to a better place and I say better because the intro is devastating, it will not be his best album but it is better than the previous two, this despite lasting only 23 minutes.

It seems that the word "too" does not mean much to Kanye, taking into account the previous Ep's this super duo give us his work of the same name "Kids See Ghosts", West in the company of Kid Cudi join in a record that I consider what have done as therapy since the two have made public their fight against mental health problems, West with his bipolar disorder and Cudi for his depression and suicidal impulses, this load of emotions in KSG ends up overcoming the album "YE" with an impeccable message that does not stop being powerful although a little simple and an excellent musical production, thus demonstrating an empathy for a sector that is not addressed very often, of the three KSG has been my favorite.

Three albums and still missing Nas, the reason why I do this post is because sometimes we get carried away by public opinion, the reference is that Kanye is a first class eyelet, but in reality that is very personal and entertainment gossip that have nothing to do with the enjoyment of music, I do not know if it is a prodigy, what I am clear is that it is a reference, knows what you want and if you propose it will make the work you have in mind, something we should take as inspiration.
