This Day in 1966 - The Beach Boys recorded: "Wouldn't It Be Nice”, which would be the opening track on their forthcoming album 'Pet Sounds (album)'.

After its release; the song came in at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 US singles chart.

In 2006; Pitchfork Media placed it at number 7 on its list of ‘The 200 Greatest Songs of the 1960s’. ♪♫ ~
