Emptiness Soul is a Russian doom/black/death metal band from the city of Syktyvkar. Emptiness Soul was founded in 2010 and closed in 2014, however, the band managed to release six full-length albums and several singles.

Изначально группа Emptiness Soul, появившаяся в 2010 году в городе Сыктывкаре, была сольным проектом музыканта Katharos. Автор планировал сочинять depressive black metal, и ничего больше. Первые четыре альбома такими и были: это сырой блэк, довольно примитивный, хотя не без проблесков. Возможно, музыканту, чтобы созреть, требовалось пройти определенный путь (никто из нас не рождается мастером) - и он его прошел. Но всё это было бы не так интересно, если бы не начало работы над пятым альбомом под названием Three Days, о котором мы узнаем в следующем посте.
