They are a band I got quite into for a while, but I'll admit I haven't paid as much attention to the more recent releases. I first heard them on the radio about 20 years ago with songs like Muscle Museum and Unintended that grabbed my ear. I thought they had elements of Radiohead then, but they also had their own style. Matt is pretty amazing as a singer and guitarist as well as playing the piano. They were destined for great things. I saw them live once and they put on a great show.
I know 'Muscle Museum', that's from the debut album that was OK but didn't really hit me so much. If you saw them before they got really popular then you were one of the fortunate ones.
I saw them much later at the O2 Arena from a great distance :) I just thought they had something different when they first appeared. They can be a bit OTT at times, but it hasn't done them any harm.
Hmm.. so you are familiar with those songs that I posted? Showbiz was OK.. but besides the title track, Muscle and Sunburn... it didn't click.
I wasn't saying it was their best work :) The stuff you posted was good
