Create your own songs

I've been writing for 5 years since I was exactly 14 years old, to my current 19 years I have learned lots of things, I have had to play in front of 500 people and what I noticed is that people do not realize so much in the sense of the lyrics but in the staging that you have, apart from the progression of chords and melody must be catchy.

Well going to the subject of composition there are quite a few methods, but I will tell you how I do it.
Generally I start creating a progression of chords with simple chords nothing complex I recommend to do it in keyboard or guitar since you have infinite possibilities.

Then you keep looking for a theme, which you have to be related to because it will be easier to express and if they are real facts people will feel more identified with what you write.

Another important point is to use a variety of synonyms because if you repeat a word too much it will become boring.
If you already have a clear idea just let yourself go and when you express everything that comes to your mind rests, then you will only have to make some arrangements.

For the chord system if you don't know much I recommend you look for the following, there are some chord progressions that if people like it more and almost all famous songs use it, but wouldn't this be very easy if that happened? Exactly why it's not the only point you should find a variant melody and with an extremely sticky chorus.
The chord progression that is generally used is: the main note that this can be whatever you want followed by the VI, V and IV notes of the main note that you have chosen, this is generally called the pop progression because several pop artists use it.
