A Shade of Blue by Incognito (Bass Cover and Transcription)
A rendition of Incognito's smooth ballad, A Shade of Blue.
One of my all time favorites, Randy Hope-Taylor is on Bass.
I think that it was played on 5-string bass, but I do only have 4-string basses, so I tuned down my bass Db-Gb-B-E to reach "Db" the lowest note in the song.
Due to the dropped tuning, the strings feel so loose and lots of string buzz occurred.
I had to play really soft not to create the buzz but you could possibly hear them here and there.
This tune sounds like warm and chill and Mr. Hop-Taylor really threw great bass line on this song as always.
