Music Monday (feel free to add your own music)
Every Monday I intend to post a music video (and a few words explaining my choice) I invite you to join me by doing same in the comments section below. As the forum (hopefully) grows my aim is that we begin to inspire our fellow Steemians to broaden their musical horizons by listening to the music that inspires us. The only thing I ask is that (where possible) every song we listen to is played nice and loudly on headphones or speakers in order that we capture it’s true essence.
As more Steemians join this venture there is also going to be the possibility of being rewarded for our musical tastes via the amount of upvotes each song receives. That said please never feel awkward about posting a track, a guilty pleasure or even your own musical ventures. I have an extremely wide range of musical interests but also understand that music like beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder. As such I may play my chosen song, but who am I to define what constitutes good music.

I remember loving this song back in the day. Huey has so much personality in his voice and the song is rockin. Posting it this week as I just heard he is releasing a new album for the first time in 18 years. WOOHOO!

Great choice this week @zekepickleman .. I remember they were huge in the States and here in the UK we'd never heard of them until .. Back to the future!! and then we all went nuts over them lol Like you say great personality and what a voice! .. like he'd been gargling with gravel. :D It was these guys and Men At Work that will always remind me of my childhood. Thank you for this trip down memory lane, and thank you for the track my friend. Can't believe he is back in the recording studio.. awesome!! :D

Value for money my friend, I just bought this on vinyl, though not this live version, I forgot, to be honest how good it was.
A much more relaxing choice than mine, I love the album tubular bells. And the whole thing it looks like will have it background play after breakfast.

Nobody else would give him a shot and Branson took a punt that paid off .. handsomely. Thank you for the music my friend .. I shall enjoy watching its entirety.
And yeah I know what you mean .. so much crap going on here at the moment, people tend to reveal their true nature during times of adversity .. you know the times when we should all be pulling together. :( To rise above it and be the best you can be is the only advice I try to follow .. although that is sometimes easier said than done. ;)

Maybe I will be back, I just lost the feel for this place months ago, and to be honest struggle to even be bothered with it, but for gems like you, v4 and a few others.
I can understand your feeling bro .. but there will be a big @shepz1 sized hole in this place when you leave :( But yeah there has certainly been a foul stench around this place over the last few weeks .. personally, I'm going to use the downtime to write the book I've been planning, so every cloud and all that. Thank you for the kind words dude, I've been pretty busy, but your posts and perspective keep me consistently entertained and thoughtful .. like I say you'll be missed on the site, but equally I have a feeling our paths will continue to cross. :)

One week ago my account value finally climbed above the $400.00 all the way up to $470.00 in fact. Today crashed back below 400 again. So here is my musical choice. (I want my Money back)

Your selection this week definitely has me in the mood for something a bit more cinematic than normal. Great track by the way. Tons of emotion in it.
I've got a lot resonating in this realm for me lately, namely the cello quartet tribute to Radiohead that I saw two weeks ago. Still, the video I've seen of friends attending the recent Olafur Arnalds show in Seattle has me revisiting his music and for good reason. Delicate and beautiful.

Ha awesome..so many great memories seeing those guys .. think Glastonbury in 94 was my first time. Funnily enough, I was due to see them at a festival last year but they pulled out. :( Have a dance for me and most importantly have an amazing time .. I know you will. :D
