I tend to believe that commitment is more important than anything we might feel at any given time @hlezama.

I have also seen it expressed by saying that Love the action is more important than the feeling we call love.

Thanks for your post.

P.S. I also don't think that all marriages will face infidelity issues. Surely there are some that don't and won't.

I have been married since March of 2010 and we haven't experienced any infidelity on either side.

Good for you, guys. Keep it that way. I'm sure that's a possibility, but must be an exceptional situation. In some cultures, for different reasons may be more asumed as the rule than in others. Thanks for your feedback.

Yeah @hlezama I definitely think that culture plays a role.

Some people are brought up in the Phililpines to believe that husbands cheat and that you should accept them afterwards since they are 'men' but I don't think that is a healthy explanation or excuse for a person's infidelity.

Beautiful. Congratulations. Long and happy life together, guys.

Thank you, Hlezama. I am enjoying your answers on @musing 😊

A lot of people cannot handle marriage, and divorces are common, so getting married and staying married, especially for a lifetime is definitely an achievement.

You may not believe it's an acheivement, but that could be because you haven't acheived it @ohmygoodness.
