The largest human population is in China.
With a total population of around 1.38 billion or equivalent to 18% of the total population of the whole world makes China occupy the first position of the country with the most population in the world. This first position was successfully defended by China since 1955 until now.
Details:
Population: 1,379,302,771 inhabitants
Area Size: 9,596,961 km2
Ratio: 18.6% of the World's Population
Population Density: 145 per km2
Location: Asia Continent
2. India
India with a total population of 1.32 billion and making India ranked second in the country with the most population in the world. But it turns out, India is a country with the largest population increase when compared with China so that it is predicted that by 2025, India can shift China's position to the most populous country in the world.
3. United States
The position of the three countries with the most population in the world is occupied by the United States with a total population of 324 million. However, even though the United States is in third place, it turns out that the United States occupies the first position for the largest number of migrants in the world, which is around 1 million people each year.
4. Indonesia
Indonesia succeeded in becoming the fourth country with the most population in the world. The total population in Indonesia is estimated at 260 million. Indonesia is also the country with the largest birth rate when compared to the four other countries with the most population in the world. In addition, although Indonesia is the only ASEAN country to penetrate the top ten most populous populations in the world, Indonesia is not included in the 10 most populous countries in the world and this is different from one of the ASEAN countries, Singapore which is ranked the 3rd most populous country in the world.
5. Brazil
Brazil with a total population of 209 million makes this country ranked fifth in the country with the most population in the world. Unlike Indonesia, which began to enter the top five in 1970 or China, India and the United States, which has always been in the top three since 1955, Brazil has just entered the top five countries with the most population in the world in 1990.
